Boyfriend calls while I'm waiting for him to pick me up at the train station. His car is dead. Dang...looks like I WILL finish reading this chapter...

Oh, boy. Hopefully it's not too serious -- and hopefully it won't take you too long to get home! At least you have a book with you, right? :)

It's a decent book by my favorite travel author. Reading Bill Bryson while traveling is a fun experience. It fills me with goodwill toward pretty much any dangerous passerby. And...it was just his battery. He ;eft his lights on apparently.
