I was going to post a little getting-to-know-me post, seeing as how a lot of people who read my blog have no idea who I am aside from what I post.
But.
I don't really feel like it at the moment.
My manager just told me I might want to start looking for another job, because the chances that I'm keeping this one are slim.
So there's that.

Do you have proof that you were supposed to give special customers special treatment? A memo? Witnesses that heard bosses telling you to do something outside the rules? Because if so, you get to sue them when they fire you. The rules are X but your boss told you to do B. Labor lawyers live for such slam dunk cases. Even if you don't want to work for these monkeys, you at least have to report them. The person who should be fired is the person who told you... as the lowly employee... to ignore the rules. You might want to share this info with your boss. If she wants to fire you, she is going with you.
I'm so sorry about your job! Right now is a horrible time to be job hunting. Of course you could go back to school or "discover" yourself or some other such thing.
Oh damn.
No proof, Kathy. Nothing like that. It's all numbers, and they're all against me. I knew I wasn't a math major for a reason.
Yeah...it's pretty much suckville around here.
Ugh. That's all I can think of to say right now, other than "sorry" :(
I know. It's pretty bad. Thanks, though. Know anyone who's hiring? :-P
SUCK. Seriously. I'm so sorry. Good luck!
Sorry to hear that! Maybe it's time for your "Money shots"-book?
I agree...time for Money Shots!
LOL. Maybe it is. In one form or another...
You always get you NaNoWriMo published. A novel, by the way, which we haven't even seen yet (hint, hint). Seriously though, I'm keeping such appendages as are capable of it, crossed for you. Even if they do fire you, this could be a turning point. We can just hope.
